And if 67% of the inhabitants believe they will be better off because you came? And 62% say ousting the father was "worth the hardships"?

Sounds like the only piles of shit are the ones still whining about it...

BTW, the analogy sucked.

**************************************

67% say Iraq will be better off five years from now than it was before liberation; only 8% say they expect to be worse off.

47% say the country is worse off now than before liberation; 33% say it's better off.

62% say ousting Saddam Hussein from power was worth the attendant hardships.

Half say the coalition authorities are doing a better job than a month ago; only 14% say they're doing a worse job.
Possibly excepting the second item, this is all very encouraging--especially since Baghdad is part of the "Sunni triangle" where most of the attacks by Saddam supporters and terrorists have taken place. "Richard Burkholder, head of the Gallup team in Baghdad, said residents of the city of more than 6 million were eager to talk with his researchers," the Associated Press reports.
