Hello Pezz, Today’s Morning Report: I just sold another two dollops of paper gold at HKD 3557/tael. I am holding the sales proceeds in HKD for lack of any better ideas. Money management is a lot like sailing, once the boat is out of the harbour. There is no null position. I have 16 more dollops of paper gold left, down from a peak holding of 64 dollops. I hate it. I hate to sell down my hoard of paper gold, but, however unnatural it feels, I must sell down the paper gold, before someone else sells down its value for me. Having thus sold, I sincerely hope I will be rewarded for my bravery and get to see gold again at USD 350/oz, even if for a few days, for I promise to be a faithful bug from that point onward. I have 32 dollops, or 10.67 tranches, of the physical gold, and 4.92 dollops of physical platinum, and I mean to keep them until TeoTwawKi kingdom come or Armageddon empire gone, else I will never see USD 3k/oz for gold, and USD 6k/oz of platinum. Hello Pezz, This Afternoon’s Report: Seeing how last night's attack on gold scattered the gold bugs, I feel that it is best I recall more of the troops, and airlift 4 dollops of them to relative safety of HKD-space at a cost of HKD 3,560/tael. 12 dollops of gold taels are still in Last Man Standing Tournament arena. Do you hear the clarion call for retreat? Run away, run that way, every which way, but run fast ... What's the strategy? ... There is no strategy. What's the tactic? ... There is no tactic. What about a rear guard action? ... What about just running fast :0) I feel exactly as I did when I was a little kid, taunting the old veggie patch keeper as I am now taunting the market. But the market is more terrible, much swifter, has no mercy what so ever, and there are fewer places to hide from an angry market;0) Chugs, Jay

Hello Pezz, Late AfternoonReport: I sold all of my Danish shares, namely one wind energy company, NEG Micon,at DKK 86something/shr, first bought here Message 19140766 <<July 24th, 2003>>, and added to here Message 19281578 <<September 5th, 2003>>. I thus recognized a small profit on NEG Micon and also protect my big profit on Vestas Wind Energy booked earlier, the proceeds of which were used to add to NEGMicon. I still believe in wind and alternative energy and the USCongress eventually extending the wind energy taxcredit treatment. I just want to side-step the nastiness that can be October, that most horrible of all months. The DKK sales proceeds will remain in DKK space, since that currency is strengthening against the USD and so not weakening relative to gold. Chugs, Jay
