To: geode00 who wrote (19412 ) 9/26/2003 10:28:48 AM From: Jeffrey D Read Replies (1) | Respond to of 42834 Geode, I know as a fact that it is foolish and useless for me to respond to or argue with a fanatic like you. But, the more you write, the more opportunity any reasonable person who is still looking at this deadful thread will have to see you as the obsessed, mean spirited know nothing that you are. You say my last post was total BS. Why? Do you dispute that his radio show is a success? Been on over 15 years so prove me wrong. Do you dispute his newsletter is a success? It continues to be rated as one of the best out there by Hulbert. Prove me wrong. I say Brinker has a genuine interest in the financial and life success of his newsletter customers and radio show listeners. I can assure you part of that genuine interest is for Brinker to make money as well. The more money his customers make by following Brinker's advice the more likely they will continue to listen to him, buy his newsletter and visit his website. In fact, those with $100,000 or more might even put that money in Brinkers investment fund. What's wrong with that? That is business. Beyond that, I am sure Brinker has attained "critical mass" long ago. He doesn't need more money to fulfill his life. I think his fulfillment comes in helping others and proving he is right. Yes, his ego demands that he be proven to be better than other financial experts and that he is right more often than his competition. What is wrong with that? That attitude is what I want to see when I am going to put my hard earned money in to some investment using someone elses recommendations. Yes, I listen to Brinker. Yes, I subscribe to his newsletter. Yes, I left the market in 2000 when he suggested it. Yes, I went back in the market in March 2003 when he suggested it. No, I do not follow all of his recommendations. Quite frankly, after you have some professional help you overcome your negative obsession and fanaticism, and you once again begin to think clearly, perhaps you will see that Brinker is not the Great Satan you now think he is. Bottom line? If you follow Brinker's advice and it is wrong, well, that is your decision so don't blame him. Just stop listening to him. If you follow Brinkers's advice and it is right then congratulate yourself, not him, for you being bright enough to have done so. Jeff
