Let's see.. The US has a $10 Trillion dollar annual GDP and Germany has a $2.2(approx) Trillion GDP..

We pledged $20 "B"illion to reconstruction in Iraq and they pledge $57 "M"illion..

Doesn't sound quite right to me... But hey.. it's better than nothing.. (but not by much)..

What's truly sad about this is that I believe, over time, when the Iraqi people get past their current problems and reflect upon recent events, they're probably going to be pretty unlikely to "favor" France with economic business, or favorable political ties...

And the road that France has led nations like Germany down, in opposing regime change in Iraq, will lead them only to reduced credibility in the developing world.
