Right team. Wrong game plan.

Clark is just another one of the masses that have swung to the center and found themselves alone, as Bush following the Bush Doctrine has left America behind.

Even Powell sits on the left hand side of the conference table, no wonder Clark respects him and his work. But the Powell Doctrine was swept from view. That is why the center has left the room, leaving Bush naked as he admires his new clothes.
