As I tried to explain, we do. They get charged because they aren't with their regular unit BUT THE ARMY GIVES THEM AN EXTRA $8,10 A DAY, TAX FREE TO COVER THAT COST. They get charged but the army pays them extra to cover the charge.

Karen, what's worse is when a soldier dies in battle. Many soldiers are young, they have young families, and their life insurance is a pathetic 250K. Until a few months ago it was 200K. Try having your husband die in your twenties with three kids to support and live off 250K?

Constrast that with the amount of money victims of 9/11 demanded the federal government pay?
