Fed added 16 Bil today-
"The Fed decisively moved to further support the DOW by adding $16 Billion in repurchase agreements today [Sept 25, 2003]. The expirations range from overnight to Oct 10th. The action seems clearly intended to avoid big losses on the major indexes in the wake of the Dubai debacle and OPEC's muscle flexing. Whether the Fed will be overwhelmed by negative market sentiment remains to be seen. The watchword is still to be wary of shorting this market."
