I have a question for you re US elections - I always wondered about this and asked it a couple of times but never really got a satisfactory answer: Why do you guys have only TWO parties to choose from, ESPECIALLY since they are BOTH pretty much the same?

That's true that the two major parties now are really two factions of one huge party. There are many more political parties in the US. But they are froze out by our "shadow government" which is the corporate interests that have methodically taken over the politics (and everything else) in our country. They control the media because they own it. The smaller parties cannot get air time and most people don't know that they exist. The corporate money and soft money of politics goes to the two parties, Democrats and Republicans. The smaller parties are not allowed to get bigger by the corporate interests. The corporate interests can be pinpointed in the organization called the Council on Foreign relations. The CFR is the head of the beast that controls the USA now. To learn more about the CFR read here. The CFR through it's control of our government actually has the power to project it's own policies into the rest of the world. CFR policy is usually our own governments policy.

Also the reason that we cannot pass campaign finance reform is because the CFR want's it just the way it is. If there was reform and the money could not flow so easily to "their" picked candidates then the political system might start working better for the people instead of for the CFR. Corporate interests are the source of millions of dollars to "chosen" candidates that will support "their" interests. They don't want the laws changed to threaten that for them. And they have the votes now.
