You mean you weren't in favor of attacking Saddam pre 9-11? Is that baloney?

The sanctions, no-fly zones, and weapons inspectors back in the country were not enough for you?

You believed that we were in imminent danger? You believed all the WMD, nuke and Al Qaeda lies?

The process was working in Iraq. Additional pressure could have been brought to bear on other issues. This war has set us back in the realm of diplomacy and has taken away the moral highground that we had after 9-11. It has not made us safer against terrorism.

Those who site that we have not been hit for two years as evidence that the "War on Terror" in Iraq is working are either naive or stupid or both.

The WTC was bombed the first time back in 1993. The plot for 9-11 was begun in 1996. The evil deed took place in 2001. That's 8 years between terrorist events. and 5 years worth of planning and preparation. How after 2 years of the Bush Doctrine can one claim that the "War on Terror" is working?

Terror is not combated on the battlefield in Iraq. Terror is slow, methodical, planned, executed by sleeper cells. Bush's war in Iraq has not done anything to stop these tactics. Believing that the "War on Terror" is working is unfortunately nothing more than a pinhead neocon fantasy.
