I'll make this as simple as possible. For mining companies to grow they need exploration prospects. Wheaton River has none. "Although Wheaton River’s activities are primarily directed towards mining operations and the development
of mineral deposits, its activities also include the exploration for and development of mineral deposits."

Its growth is by acquisition and they, so far, have acquired an unprofitable gold mine, a bankrupt silver mine and a marginal copper gold producer with a limited life from a major. None has much demonstrated exploration potential. Okay?
