If the targets of Sharon's assassination campaign were terrorists, he is still violating a truce. I agree he was violating the truce, but I believe he had already renounced the truce. That's why the Israelis eliminated him, a bona fide military target, not a group of children on a bus that may possibly catch a soldier or two, as is the strategy of those you defend.
