I've backed up to a Seagate tape for a long time, until I had to find something on it and it took an hour. Quit that and went to backing up on R/W CD's, which is OK. But, after really considering what I have on this machine, I don't do a fraction of the backing up I used to do. Too time consuming and I can replace (or reinstall) quickly and easily. You don't need much backup if your drive keeps on truckin'. If it goes up in smoke, then you're starting all over with installation, etc anyway. I backup (to floppies) about a half dozen files that would be awkward to reproduce. Then I pray a lot! ggg
