I have my own inimitable way of making pepper soup. I take all the red and green peppers I can find (or 6 or 7 or so) and I cut them up. In a huge pot I cut some baby potatoes and carrots and onions and start cooking them in a chicken broth. I also add some tomato paste, some chili peppers, cayenne pepper (lots), regular black pepper, lots of garlic. A bit later I add all those other peppers.

When I eat it, I stir into the bowl a couple of tablespoons of "half-an-half (about 10% cream). The taste is wonderful and your sinuses and lungs will clear up in a jiffy!
