good point, stop terrorism (just like communism) unlike communism, Islam will not fall under its own weight it is a certain failure, but its chief effect is failed economies, foreign dependence on everything but energy, failed diplomacy, and exported violence and yes, refusal to accept any responsibility for any failure whatsoever I read the Bernard Lewis book last winter "Crisis in Islam" Lewis is a Middle East scholar and professor at Princeton his books are excellent he is a westerner, but seems to give fair treatment he makes several great points: - Islam refuses to grow its internal institutions outside the religious sector - Islam refuses to educate its women properly, but relies upon them to teach children up to age of 6 when they enter school (HALF THE POPULATION IS UNEDUCATED) - Islam for decades refused to learn foreign languages, relying instead on foreigners to come to them (THEY DID) - Islam refused to attempt to develop weapons, and rather relied upon Europeans to provide military equipment and material for them (THEY DID NOT DURING CONFLICTS, WHICH RESULTED IN THE CARVING OF TURKISH EMPIRE) - Islam refused to develop an array of foreign embassies abroad, relying on foreigners instead to come to them (THEY DID) - Islam failed to provide adequate educational systems, instead allowing them to be mosque extensions, which failed to properly teach math and the sciences (THEY WERE WORLD LEADERS IN THE FIRST MILLENIUM) - Islam refuses to allow evolution politically, beyond monarchies and military dictatorships, having no sense of democracy or democratic institutions (THEIR ALTERNATIVE IS EXCLUSIVELY CLERICAL FASCISM) AN UTTER AND COMPLETE HORRENDOUS CULTURAL FAILURE WHICH HAS BEEN HEAPED UPON THE WORLD AS TERRORISM there is no doubt that they harbor terrorism but nowadays, we are not fighting terrorism in Iraq we are taking oil fields and seizing airbases I have heard of perhaps 1-2 AlQaeda boys arrested in Iraq they are not inside Iraq but conduct Hit & Run missions from Syria and Iran though which will give up pretext for invasions DURING THE PRESIDENTIAL CAMPAIGN AND PRIMARY SEASON not now, not yet, wait for the campaigns better political effect for transforming the prez election process (OR DEGRADING IT) into a referendum for "LOVE OF FLATG AND COUNTRY" or to the alternative "STEADFAST DEFENSE AGAINST TERRORISM" what a joke / jim
