There would have to be a change in the underwriting requirements from FMNA and Freddie to cause that. Is that happening? Otherwise they will line up a bunch more unqualified people (analogy: the Volkstrom: you know the old WWI vets used in 1945 by Germany)to borrow (at these new lower mortgage rates) against overvalued assets. Looks like they're going to try (like the Germans at the Battle of the Bulge) and prolong the refi and homebuilding bubble to me.
