Not you. No. Jewel changed his scenario. Karen changed her scenario. You never did anything wrong. Other, of course, than inviting Karen to attend Ammo's debut at Lincoln Center. That, I have to say, was not bright, knowing what you know. But other than that, you're innocent. As to the "initial innocuous description" of the outfit, see the post I made to Karen about her changes. As initially described, innocuous is not the term that comes to mind. When one or two people react strangely to a situation, you can say that's their issue. But when ALL the guests, except the wife's family, look askance, then you have to think AuntieK is really wearing something outlandish and inappropriate.
