Gee, I guess yo're right. We SHOULD have invaded Iraq with no coalition and no post-war plan. That Saddam was a real imminent threat. Even Clinton said so in 1998. Even Hillary agreed. But no, not a single Democrat except Lieberman maybe agreed on the course Bush took. That was just reckless.

Do you realize how dumb it sounds coming from the arrogant Bushies? Now they're trying to blame their huge mistakes on some Democrats who might have partly agreed with them. As if they were fooled instead of them fooling us. Really lame.

Everyone's glad Saddam is gone, but it's how SMART you wage a war, not waging one just because you feel like swiping oil and a mid-term election. Why else was Bush in such a damn rush to go it alone? Why did he blow off the UN so quickly? And why is his administration so bad at finishing jobs? Also, why did they lie to us about the WMD's and the cost of the war?

Why all the effort to beat that to death

Thanks for agreeing with me.

and not one response to this post?

Because I didn't read that post. But thanks for pointing out to us the incredibly narrow spectrum of political thought in America. The establishment is indeed far more right-wing and pro-war than the public which it pretends to serve.
