don't give a rip what anyone else says -- we are NOT going back into a period of consolidation like last year. We are in a different leg of this thing ...

See below: first rise to about .25 is part of a correction off the lows

first rise from there is what those e-wave guys call '1'
sentiment was clearly more extreme into the June top 02

now in what they call '3' -- but early -- notice how the character of the rise is different.

From May 2001:Recently we have heard reports of China buying gold with their massive hoard of US dollars which accumulates monthly due to the huge US trade Deficit with China. If China alone were to adopt a policy of trading their US dollars for gold, first of all there wouldn't be enough physical gold for them to do that, consequently it would cause a huge jump in the price of gold, putting tremendous pressure on the US dollar. So, China could be an important part of this equation -- and personally I can tell you that I think it would be imminently wise for China to do just that. If they are smart, they are quietly doing this and these reports we've been reading are true.
