Bush overcame 1 o 2 million fabricated Gore votes to keep the presidency from becoming an arm of the Marxist/Leninist anti-American domestic enemy. 91101, under Gore, would have meant the end of civilization. The Founders understood that America would one day be threatened by an enemy like the Clinton/Gore Nazis. Such types were not at all unfamiliar in the Founders' era. They may have been surprised at how close the domestic enemy got to ending it all in 2000. But they would most assuredly have been pleased at the ability of the great nation they created to avoid such a close call with destruction...

It most certainly is a valid question and GWB was most definitely elected. A major Florida newspaper conducted a recount and the results proved the validity of his election. Answer to question who received larger percentage of total vote when elected: G.W. Bush over 49% and W.J. Clinton less than 40% of total vote. So, it is an indisputable fact that in their first presidential election far more citizens actually voted for GWB than voted for WJC for President of the U.S.
