Brooks doesn't bring new information to the table so far as I'm concerned;

He runs in the conservative Intellectual circles, and he talked to the Profs he mentioned before he wrote it. What we are talking about is the Liberal Arts and SS departments, of course. I expect them to be Liberal. They always have been. But this is why you see private money for a lot of Environmental, SS and PS research. You just can't get the opposite POV in the Universities.
