I would drop it, except that it irks me that your broad generalization insinuates that these politicians are generally democrats and crooks, and not the lily white republicans

I don't know that you can say most Democrat politicians are crooks, but I do firmly believe most crooked politicians are Democrats. They can't help it, however -- they are unable to distinguish right from wrong. When Clinton sold pardons to the highest bidder, it seemed a reasonable thing to his liberal mind.

Al, it irks me that your broad generalization insinuates that these politicians are generally democrats and crooks

You are taking this way too personally. The truly rich don't have to worry about income taxes, because they don't need the income. They've already made theirs. Hence the reason why I bring up Huffington, because her net income in the past year didn't amount to much.

Many politicians are those who've already made theirs. Bush and Cheney are obvious examples, but what about Kerry, Kennedy, and Clinton? I only single out the Democrats because they are the ones in favor of "wealth redistribution." They are the ones trying to finance campaign pledges on the backs of honest, upwardly mobile citizens who are trying to make theirs (but haven't yet).
