Yes, I'm buying some PGH exdistribution (Pengrowth Energy Trust). I think it's ex as of Monday. I don't buy on the Candadian exchanges but PGH trades on NYSE. I didn't want the extra dividend but would rather buy it at an ex-dividend price. Also after seeing Friday's action, I am thinking that Monday may be a rather impressive down day. If all goes to formula, Tuesday after opening may be a good time to pick up some more stocks. Your comment about the lack of ex-dividend drop is noted.

In addition PGH has a nice mix of producing wells in Alberta and in Nova Scotia. It seems that off shore NS has been somewhat of a disappointment, especially Sable Island but it is still a young area in terms of exploration and has potential. In addition the NS fields are close to the population centers of the North Eastern US.
