Thanks Joe. I find those that are still lined up to drink the Kool-Aid are quick to attack the messenger. If I am a "failed engineer" then someone should tell McGraw Hill where I am a featured contributor mhest.com I would have thought they would have picked an article from a "bigger failure" than I, perhaps one of the 27 with Nobel Prizes, to feature? But who am I to tell them what to do? Here mhest.com they say The Encyclopedia contains over 7,000 articles written by experts in their respective fields. A total of approximately 5,000 contributors come from universities, industry, and government agencies. 29 Nobel Prize winners are among these distinguished contributors. I wonder what my critic has done with his life to go around calling others failures? Is he a recognized expert in identifying failures or just someone easily fooled by a fortune telling act on a radio show? I could add that if you go to Frys you will see laptops, printers and Cell phones with optical com ports (IrDA) in them that I helped define as a product, helped write the standards for and got a patent in my name [ 164.195.100.11 ] that allowed HP to have 95% market share when I left. So if that is "failure" then I guess I am a pretty good failure in pretty good company. -gg-
