Equal protection violation, apparently. Well, I'd like equal protection from phone calls regardless of the source. Oh, you say that's not what they mean by equal protection? Well, that's what I mean by it. But I'll settle for some protection rather than none. Re the other equal protection, the one they mean, distinctions are made all the time between commercial speech and political speech. Not unreasonable at all. Unfortunately, Congress didn't bifurcate the legislation for that reason but rather to placate enough special interests get it passed.
