Tip of the iceberg

Absolutely, and nationwide

Tampa's Hillsborough County's current pace of foreclosures is over 100 per week

Cody,re:"Stop Foreclosures...DC". Someone is trying to get
in on the RE-IPO(forclosure) before it gets on the market.
Just like IPO, only the PROs get the good deal, the
retailer join the party and hoping not the last one to
hold the candle.
Don't forget:
1. US cannot afford deflat asset price because of our
commitment to the middle east peace initiatives.
2. they are not building LAND any more. (except those BUST
cycle of the past).
3. Fed has a lot of money to print (and need to increase
the pace before the election year).
4. you may need to unload some of the IPOs(foreclosuers)
you scoop up after the election (2005).
5. or you can hold it until the WMD.f (financial weapon of
mass destruction) in 2008 (the free capital gain plan
for all by the genius).
Some of those losers can't even afford to pay the commision,
closing costs ... no wonder they get foreclosed.

<<In the Washington, DC area, one can see see ever more road signs: "Stop Foreclosures & phone number". Somebody must be foreclosing on $400-500,000 townhomes ... >>

LOL! And the uneducated who so much as dial that phone number will fall immediately into the hands of a shark who probably just wants the victim's credit card and social security number.

What reputable "helpful professional" do YOU know who posts signs on telephone poles and stop signs?

Sorta reminds me of the harassing phone calls I've been receiving from some "consumer advocate" outfit which keeps wanting me to return the call so it can help me get out from under the "burden" of my high-interest credit cards....the calls even go so far as to make statements such as "you're in our database as someone who could use our help, and we're very surprised you haven't returned our calls".
