My opinion of Echo, TVX, is high property inertia and little drive to enhance their crystal faces in the existing operations. This could be done with better technology and more forward thinking. Too much deadwood and of-techno-advance-naysaying at the engineering level and too much onion on the breath leaves little profit in the stope. Big shares, but existing investors will not drive them to new heights as too much fall back in recent times. Basically their staff is too unskilled and too bureaucratic. I call it the Cominco-Teck-committee-onion effect. Too many doctorates arguing will never find a mine or change a mining method. Too few industroid-techno wizards will never engineer a solution to make money. Too many workers too long in positions won't.

Kinross threw oodles of $$ at some properties with no idea how the payback would happen. If they cannot predicate it at 350 with existing technology then it is a headscratcher.

Lighter sleeker animals move faster.

I like KGI, provided the mining solutions continue to break new ground.
