Very interesting. The Euros are not coughing up, and we are. If this aid to "refugees" who have not been refugees for 50 years was better known here, I think the Pro-Israeli faction in Congress would pressure against it.

Same thing goes for Afghanistan.

International donors at a conference in Tokyo in January 2002 pledged nearly $5 billion US to help rebuild Afghanistan but only about $2 billion has been delivered and Afghans have long complained aid has been slow.

Note how, despite the European and Arab "love" for the poor, poor, Palestinians, when it comes time to pony up money for UNWRA only the US paid anything.
