I have wondered if telling too much about oneself on chat sites is right. And then I remember what it was like. Really risking letting someone you have never seen share a part of your life. Of your pain. Not knowing. If the other person at the other end of these letters would be able to be as open. And finding they were. And losing them. Without ever meeting them. Or did I? I think so. My gain. I lived to read the thread. For a few strange months it pulled me through grief and pain. Seemed a lifetime.
