You're forgetting Bush's #1 winning issue, military might and being the Commander In Chief. Don't laugh. Despite his recent fall in the polls, he still has 60-70% approvals on those issues. That's why it's going to take a military macho man type to beat him. Otherwise, Bush is free to pose with all the soldiers he wants for photo ops and the image alone can beat Dean. Remember, most people dojnt even understand the wonkish side of the issues, and Dean is too liberal for most people too. Listen to Kerry and you'll see he echoes most of Dean's policies, though he's not going to run on abolishing middleclass tax cuts, another big political mistake for Dean a la Mondale or Dukakis. johnkerry.com Compare.
