I think it's the Jews who want to rebuild it. Emile calls them anti-christ Jews because they don't accept Jesus. Maybe that's why they will accept the anti-christ. Because he will come to them in a way they expect? Setting up an earthly kingdom and vanquishing all their enemies as they expected Jesus to do. I looked for some links about the temple. I know there has been a push for a long time to do it and the cornerstone has already been made and went through whatever rituals are needed. I heard recently that the old idea that the Dome of the Rock was in the way was wrong and that the Temple actually goes in a different direction so it can be built. But I think it's a jewish idea to rebuild it. But then again, who is influencing them spiritually? In Hebrews the Christian jews were warned they could not go back to the Law. That is over so we know that God is not in the rebuilding of the Temple. God is finished with that covenent and destroyed it 2,000 years ago. did any of this help?
