Chris,
The Dems will never convince the average citizen in U.S. that the Iraqi war is not necessary. We took the fight to them on their home turf. Would it have been better to let the battle continue in our neighborhoods?

A recent editorial cartoon shows the door to the oval office standing slightly open--we hear the President ask:
"How is the post-war plan coming along?"....aide answers:
"slow sir..there's resistance tothe occupation--terrorist attacks...shortages...trouble restoring basic services..reconstruction could take longer and cost a lot more than anticipated!"....Then we see who's sitting behind the desk in the oval office and Abraham Lincoln responds "Well, stay the course...I still think the war was worth it."
