I know and it's frustrating that party politics in the U.S. has evolved to the point that many citizens treat the opposition party like dangerous enemies rather than saving that attitude for our true enemies in the Mid-east. What would have happened after Pearl Harbor if Congress refused to grant Pres Roosevelt's request to declare war on Japan. What if the isolationists stubbornly refused to cooperate and did nothing but criticize the President. What would the outcome of WWII have been if the U.S. never joined the struggle?
