Sam > Aus.may become the new desert as the depletion in the ozone is causing catastophic conditions there ,20% less rainfall this year alone South Africa will be next

I didn't see it myself but I'm sure it's true although I must say rainfall has been good lately. SA is beset with many problems most of which have been getting worse in the past few years except, it seems, crime.

Maybe that has something to do with the fact that they have lost count.

> Canada produces about 30% more than they can consume ,so they are bringing in about 200000 imigrants a year ,Toronto alone will need 100000 new homes a year for the next 10 years to start ,Talk about a building boom

In my opinion, Canada has outstanding prospects, probably better than anywhere else in the world. Many South Africans have emigrated there and I'm sure many more will follow.

> The lower dollar will bring back work to the US were many of the new jobs they are talking about are at hamburger stands at minimum wages while the good industrial jobs have been going off shore

Don't forget that the Chinese yuan is pegged to the USD so even though the value of the dollar falls against the currency of other countries it will not fall against the Chinese currency. So a devaluation of the USD will not bring the improvement to the economy that many hope for.
