NOW you have made a sort of Tortilla Soup-- without tortillas and with potatoes! I add chicken to mine. And avocado slices.

Sometimes I add vermicelli and it becomes-- VERMICELLI SOUP but not with that many peppers.
It makes you realize how a good base can go in a lot of directions.

Most of my soups, stews, stir-frys and such are slightly different each time. My chicken broth is usually made from cubes or powder for convenience. I just add water, cubes and paste until everything tastes good! I think I had a little more onion and less carrot and more cayenne...and probably more peppers. But you know--one can add whatever spices and sauces seem appropriate at the time. I can smell your soup from here! Hmmmmm...
