Fact is, that all the military votes were counted. Not one was left out. But many of them were improper. They were postmarked "after" the election. Or they were postmarked in the US. Overseas ballots are not postmarked in the US.

Not even Gore is stupid enough to deny the counting of military votes.

But if you were to stick to the law, as so many spout on this board is what is done in an election, then these military votes should not of counted. Even when you count all the overseas military votes that were "properly" postmarked by election day, Gore would have won the election by 7 votes.

The military's votes were finally counted, but they weren't needed, it was an added bonus for Bush.
