Doesn't much matter what he says....

The Washington Post has already quoted an 'administration figure' saying that 'two different high ranking administration officials' called numerous reporters trying to leak this information... and all of the other reporters they tried to plant the story with (including Andrea Mitchell, who has said she was one of the reporters called) apparently thought better of commiting the felony of revealing the identity of an under-cover US Intelligence agent.

No doubt other reporters will come forward.

Sounds like poor Novak didn't have any scruples about either breaking the law, or endangering our agents.
