Of course, President Clinton and Senator Clinton defend President Bush on his contention that Saddam Hussein had weapons of mass destruction.

I refuse to believe that the Clinton Administration would have enforced UN Sanctions on Iraq, if they didn't believe that Saddam still had chemical weapons and was trying to develop nuclear weapons. The Clinton Administration knew that Saddam was using Sanctions as an excuse to punish large sectors of the Iraqi people. And they knew that OBL was using Sanctions as a major recruiting tool for al Qaeda. They believed that Saddam was still trying to build WMDs and accepted the price (at the time) of containing him.
