Ted, I suspect they want Bush and Blair to fail. For many people, Bush and Blair are synonymous with evil. Its why consensus is important. Consensus for war on Iraq was unachievable. I am (generally speaking) a hawk, and I was very much on the fence. It took leadership which Bush and Blair provided. Under consensus, Saddam torture chambers would still be operational. You didn't know that his approval rating in the UK has dropped below 30% and over 40% of the Labour party wants him to resign his office? I knew it dropped, but I didn't know it was below 30%. The leftist opposing him may end up handing over power to Tories, if the public sees that Labor is going back to its pre-Blair roots. Joe
