You are being absurd. What depression? Clinton left Bush with a huge surplus and almost full employment. Dot-coms alone would never have created a depression. That was a two year correction and had little or nothing to do with the tax cuts. The internet business just had to consolidate and get real. Therefore all the easy money was off the table. Another reason Bush's policies dont work is his emphasis on Iraq. That war killed the economy for a whole year. Evreything was frozen. And now we find out there was no imminent thrat at all. Bush bet his entire reputation on that war. Live by the sword, die by it. He's a goner and one of the lousiest prsidents in history, if not the worst. On nearly every level, not just Iraq. He makes Grey davis look like a fiscal conservative.
