Iraq was never a real threat to the US. It was not directly connected to the war on terrorism. Any connection or threat was merely speculative. So why did we do it so fast and without much thought? Why did we spent hundreds of billions and thousands of lives? Where is there any evidence Iraq will ever become a positive bulwark in the ME? And do you actually believe we plan to give them democracy? So the Shiites can rule? The Shiites allied with Iran?
