Mark: New management has scored with new product hits: salads, McGriddles, etc...though these may have been developed previously. Unfortunately, operations still need improvement as this QSR study shows MCD slipping form 4th in the 02 study to 12th: qsrmagazine.com As to hanging on: This is clearly a market that favors suspension of disbelief and may continue to do so for quite some time, so even if I'm 'right' on the fundamental issues and negative margin impacts, there's a good chance I'll miss some upside.
