It , just as our chimpoid ancestors were the DNA launch pad for us. We left the chimpoids behind and we will be left behind in turn, having done our job. It will join the great microwave Gaussian noise in the intergalactic aether which is no doubt really good gossip from like-minded superconsciousnesses about the hot new babe on planet Earth. It seems silly to fight like the chimpoids in "2001 A Space Odyssey", but that's life on Earth.
