I think I probably used a bigger pot (approx. ten inch diameter). My little bit of paste was absorbed nicely.

I freeze a dozen or so peppers when they are on sale. They are ready to cut in minutes after taking out so it is ideal for those who like to add them to stir-fries, salads, and the like. I'm glad you liked it.

The key in most soups and stews (he intoned sententiously) is to cook the veggies as little as possible and avoid that formless and tasteless mush that passes as cooking from the incapable hoards (as he lifts his nose the requisite degree of subtleness) <g>

I had about a dozen reds and greens left over from my last pepper binge so I put them through the Osterizer (with a bit of broth) and froze them in small (approx. 8 ounce) containers. I intend to use these as stir-fry bases added to chicken broth or whatever. I will let you know how THAT turns out one of these days.

"Not as compared with Jewel's."

My blood pressure is quite low thank you. Very much as you would expect to see with a fit athlete. .... Sheesh, you people sure take it hard when your mundane conventional rhetoric gets sliced and diced.

tsk karen. If you are refering to the recent mojo discussion, I challenge you (doubting that you will accept) to look at the number of personal slurs and put downs (the post that I am responding to being yet another uncalled for slam) that were cast in my direction ... as compared to the relatively few stern rebukes that I returned.

Your attitude has really been revelant over the past couple of weeks sis...
