08:07 ET MGIC Investment estimates cut at Bear Stearn (MTG) 52.93: Bear Stearns reduces its 2003 est to $4.88 from $5.10 (Reuters consensus $5.02) and 2004 est to $5.20 from $5.55 (consensus $5.57) to reflect additional reserve building as delinquencies and claims continue to rise. While firm thinks some of this credit weakness is already reflected in MI stock prices, firm thinks there could be some additional reaction as estimates are trimmed and as companies provide more credit info with Q3 results.
