Let's see how much of a tax they can stand. Let's up their's to 98% again. Really wouldn't effect their standard of living but would be good for everyone else.

I think charity's great but the grand scale of it practiced by the rich is generally self-promoting tax strategy. If the rich aren't putting their money in a tin can in the back yard then it's in the economy doing it's thing, .....vastly superior to funding excess government and bloated bureaucracy. Levels of government employment since the 50's are triple, IOW every taxpayer now must support more government. Levels of non-teaching positions per 100 students are tripled also and to what benefit? If there was convincing evidence of better government and schools you wouldn't be able to generate opposition. If schools and government were even equal to the 50's you wouldn't be getting the backlash from the electorate, like in CA where they have finally decided enough is enough. I'm not convinced after all the dust settles, that even if Arnold gets elected he will find a way to change things, but hopefully this is just a beginning to some long needed reforms.
