Are you saying that Mr. Bill did nothing for eight years? That seems about right now that I think about it.

Mr. bill was in charge as this force structure was created and I have not complained about the structure put in place. I simply state that suggesting it somehow is the Secdev's creation is not rational. The structure in place may well be too lean to contend with the reality of national defense post 9-11.

The plan in Iraq was brilliant in my opinion. The only hiccup that caused delays was the massive sand storm. Attacking with more troops in parallel would have increased the likelihood of more deaths in action and by accident. I don't believe based upon ability to move only so many miles a day that more troops would have made for a quicker time to total defeat.

In general Deaths occur based upon numbers exposed over time. More exposed more deaths. Longer exposure more deaths. The short duration of the War indicates that too few were not used. One could argue that maybe too many but that is speculative. The fact that so few died and more than 50% were caused by accidents says that too few was not in any way a rational argument.

And you complain now about how many National Guards people are there. Clearly more would have to have been deployed for a larger force to be used.

Your posts reveal you are totally out of touch with the simple ideas of logistic reality in waging a large war.

You constant bias against the Sec-Dev looks more and more like some personal ignorance based rant.
