I am glad you found that bio.
It makes this entire thing pure nonsense.

The only folks on earth who don't know that American Ambassadors and their wives constantly collect intelligence for the CIA are American Democrats.

If Wilson wanted his wife's name to be a secret

This is not the issue at all. It is the fact that she is a CIA agent that should have been kept a secret.

The fact that she is a diplomat's wife gave her an even better cover for her CIA work. After all, who would suspect that a low key diplomat's wife is a CIA agent?

The revelation of her CIA connection is genuine treason, and if the perpetrator is found out he or she will do a lot of prison time. That's why the WH is showing signs of cooperation. I will not be surprised if Bush wants to throw the perpetrator(s) to the dogs ASAP so that the matter is forgotten by election time.
