What Democrat policies directly led to this peace and prosperity?

The pangs of envy...what republican policies are leading to it today ? Oh...I forgot...we don't have peace and prosperity. At least under democratic control we had those, even if according to you we could not trace the source. I would take my odds with the latter and live in blissful prosperous and peaceful un-knowledge of those responsible...

"They [the Democrats] fill that void by focusing on the negatives of Bush's policies."

You finally got it right!! Focus on the negatives of HIS POLICIES Here's a thought...why don't you help us find a few positives? Let's see what's a possible list? Economy, crime, jobs, poverty, deficit, Palestine, North Korea, environment...nope, none of those...I give up. You try.

What Democrat policies directly led to this peace and prosperity? Most economists would agree that Clinton rode the wave of prosperity, but didn't create it. Luckily for him, he hopped off just as the wave crashed.

Most conservative economists! In fact, conservatives rarely give credit to anyone other than conservatives, and certainly, not to Bill Clinton. So none of what you posted comes as a big surprise.

The truth is Slick Willie had a great 8 years; not matched by any other administration since 1970.
