I would not have added the half-and-half to the main body: It reduces the viability time and restricts the freedom to adjust to taste. But not a crucial error... I see that you love onions, too!

and 1/2 can tomato paste- couldn't even taste the tomatoes- which is probably good My version tasted a bit too much like spicy cream of tomato soup with peppers rather than pepper soup, which is why I suggested cutting back. Glad you liked it. This recipe is rather like playing "telephone." Pretty soon Solon won't recognize it at all. I never heard of gold peppers. You're one up on me now. But I'll find another new variety of eggplant soon and catch up. <g>
