I believe he said that he had no proof it was Rove, just speculation.

Other 'leaks' are starting to point at Rove as the button man. How ironic, the leaker is getting leaked on...

It's not that I don't understand it, it's just that it is wrong. Wilson never said he made up the Rove leak information. You should be ashamed of yourself for passing off phoney quotes, I can't think of anything less ethical in this context.
